J. R. Dick Fitch is a retired newspaper publisher from California now living in Kerrville, Texas. He has shared three of his cars with us and each one is a beauty and quite unique.

Dick tells us he purchaced this 1953 Studebaker Starliner Coupe from a man in South Bend, Indiana who had owned it for 35 years. It sure is a clean way to start a collection!

Next up we have Dick's newest purchase a 1962 Rambler-American convertible. He picked this one up in October of 2008. He Says "There are not many of these around any more and this car gets a lot of attention when I take it out. I affectionately call her "Ugly Betty" telling people she is so ugly she is cute." Looks pretty cute to us!

Lastly, but most certainly not least we have his 1964 Studebaker Gran Turismo Hawk. Dick has owned this car for about three years. It has factory a/c, power steering and front disc brakes--all original equipment. These were the last Studebakers made in South Bend, Indiana. The plant closed in December,1963 so only a few of these early 64s were produced. This one sure is a nice example!

And now the Publisher is Published...At thanks2frank!
