Straight off the Farm!

According to Craig Holmes, this 1938 Plymouth Truck was bought new by a man who owned a furniture company in Walsenburg, Colorado. It was sold to the second owner in 1966 and moved to DICO Farms (Colbert Dixon's Family Farm) in Pueblo Colorado where it rested in a field. It remained in that field, untouched, until July 2002. With Colbert's (Janyc's Dad) health failing everything had to go, Janyc and Craig Holmes bought the truck from Janyc’s father becoming its third owners. They moved it to Ogden, Utah were it now happily lives. As you can see from these photos, Craig and Janyc Holmes really gave this truck a renewed look at life. The truck has been complete for 2 years and driven to many car shows winning numerous awards. We can certainly see why!! Team Frank wants to thank Craig and Janyc for sharing this beautiful truck with all of us.

Once you get your project home, like so many things in life, the key is to start your street rod on a solid foundation. Looks like Craig took that advice to heart!
