Four Doors to Two!!

At some car shows they give an award to the person that travels the furthest to join the festivities. We don’t have an award like that at thanks2frank but if we did this ’52 Chevy would certainly take that prize. I don’t care what state you live in you won’t see this beauty at your local car show because its located way down under in Australia!

Our best new mate, Rod was kind enough to share these photos of his beautiful classic with us here in the states. This is no simple restoration this is a full on custom. The car started life as a 4 door and has been beautifully converted to a 2 door, the lights have been Frenched ,it runs on 2 inch dropped spindles and a 1 inch coil cut up front and 3 inch blocks in the rear.

This beauty is pushed around by a 1962 235 with a mild cam and it runs on propane! The Car also features Holden I.F.S. Disk Brakes, Holden 4 speed and a 3.08 ratio rear end also by Holden. This car also features miles (or is it kilometers) of style! If we ever make it down under you can bet we are gonna take our cameras looking for this one!

We are so glad that Rod decided to share these photos with us  it’s a great car and we certainly hope that hot rodders from every part of the world will share their rides with thanks2frank!
