Burn Out Contest Winner 2010 Every year John Hanson and the entire crew at the Rainbow Hotel & Casino put on a fantastic event and we are here to tell you that 2010 was no exception. As always there was a killer burn out contest for big fat cash prizes, JC Hackett doing his thing, a beautiful poker run that had almost 250 cars and a $1000 grand prize, A street dance, and lots of fun inside and outside the casino!
This year also featured a Beach Boys Concert at the Peppermill Concert Hall, The Maverick Tracker Nitro Monster Truck, a display by Firestone Complete Auto Care and a little something extra…a Salt Flats WEDDING! Now you may be asking yourself who in the world would want to get married on the Salt Flats? Well the answer is the owners of this website! After five years together my beloved and I finally made our union official right at the entrance to the historic Bonneville Speedway!
And about all we brought was love and a bride to the event. Our family of cruisers made our dream wedding a total reality. We were married by Mayor Chad Bangerter, owner of CBRodz, who also takes care of our beast of a Buick for us. JC Hackett provided sound and did us the honor of being a witness to the event. Scott Mcnair was kind enough to shuttle us to and from the event in his '41 Ford rag top (thats moving in style). John Hanson and the wonderful Montego Bay Baker provided a beautiful cake, the sun and the salt provided us with a beautiful backdrop, and many many of our dearest friends pitched in to make our day a perfect one. We had beautiful flowers and matching Bride & Groom Jackets provided by Carrie Godfrey and so many hugs and wishes well that we can’t even thank everyone enough. For all of you that were there or had us in your thoughts that day we just want to say, “Thank you and we love you!”
